Approximately 3 hours drive from Toronto, on the border with Quebec, is located Algonquin Park, a protected nature reserve with over 7,600 km ² forests, lakes, rivers and an endless variety of animal species.
Together with bears, wolves, squirrels and birds of every type, you can spend a weekend totally refreshing. Immersing them-selves in nature, walking in the forest, crossing the lake with the canoe and in the evening, in the true spirit of camping and relaxing in front of the fire.
The only "noise" is the sounds of nature: the waves of the lake crashing against the shore, the cries of animals, the rustling of leaves blowing in the wind.
"For one weekend, time is stopped and "we have taken the time" to admire the forests and the different kinds of plants species, never before seen in an amazing silence. For two days we discovered the nature of Canada, we have made camp with an immense fire for us to eat and we have learned to go straight in a canoe, anything but easy, above all when the wind hits you in the face and there are some impressive waves which are not expected in a lake. The Canadian nature is very beautiful and you feel completely out of the rest of the world. That is why Algonquin is a unique experience."
